Sharmez Savory is a board certified physician assistant whose training moved deliberately from broad to specialized. He began in the biological sciences, spent time in maternal health as an intern with the Los Angeles Maternal Health Program, and completed hospital rotations before entering physician assistant training. After certification he practiced in family medicine and then in pain management, two fields that reward listening carefully to how a patient describes what they feel. He went on to complete a surgical fellowship, adding a surgical dimension to a background rooted in primary and pain care.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. During his early training he completed an internship with the Los Angeles Maternal Health Program at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, which included clinical rotations at Martin Luther King Hospital. He subsequently studied Business and Management at the University of Redlands.
He was accepted into the Physician Assistant program at Moreno Valley College in 2008 and graduated in 2010, going on to earn board certification. His clinical experience covers family medicine and pain management.
In 2015 Sharmez completed a surgical fellowship at Arrowhead Medical Center in San Bernardino, California, extending his practice into the surgical management of spinal conditions.
